Kanlux presented the customers its new lighting products.

During open-door day Kanlux vice president, Damian Wilczek, handed over the uniforms for Orten football team. Andrzej Tubulczuk, Orten's president, was honoured with occasional medal.

Orten Electrotechnical Wholesale Company and importer of modern German electrotechnical products - Istpol - organised an interesting training concerning intelligent electric installation control system - DUPLINE.

The training was prepared by ISTPOL, representative of Doepke Company in central and nothern Poland.

DUPLINE system is one of the most developped intelligent installation system, which gives the biggest number of possibilities. Each participant was given free multimedia handbook concerning this matter.

The first Electrotechnics Minifair in ďż˝ďż˝dďż˝ was held. Fifteen companies from all over the country participated: SEZ PL – industrial equipment; GE – modular and industrial equipment, switching stations, lighting; ETI-Polam – modular equipment and electroceramics; Karpicko – housing equipment; Legrand FAEL - modular and industrial equipment, switching stations, installation channels; Lena – lighting; Pokďż˝j – control equipment; Moeller – industrial equipment, switching stations; Promet – control and monitoring equipment; Hager – modular equipment; Polo – housing equipment; Tehalit – installation channels; Kanlux – lighting; Lite-Licht – lighting; ABB – industrial equipment, switching stations, housing equipment; Simet – installation equipment; Plexiform- lighting. The exhibitors presented many modern solutions in functional and industrial electrotechnics. The fair enjoyed considerable popularity among the inhabitants of ďż˝ďż˝dďż˝, who were visiting the fair in great numbers. The president of ORTEN, Andrzej Tybulczuk, is already planning the next-year edition. He announces that it will be an even bigger success for the company as well as a promotion of ďż˝ďż˝dďż˝ – City of Modern Technologies.

As a continuation of its victory march through football tournaments, the team FC ORTEN won the championship on 11.01.2003 in Gniezno. The tournament was organised by the company KOS ELEKTRO SYSTEM from Nekla. Eight teams, divided into two groups participated in the tournament.

The team captain, Grzegorz Stankiewicz, picked up the champion’s cup from the president of KOS, Mr Ryszard Kosmowski. Moreover, Jacek Kubiak, was awarded with an additional prize (an excellent mountain bike) as the best pitch technician. Piotr Nowak proved to be, as usual, the best scorer in the team.

After the tournament all participants celebrated their success on a banquet, which continued until morning. Once more, ORTEN was the winner.
